My husband is a silent person. He often talks especially when he have problem or he is feeling uneasy about a situation. Sometimes his being anxious to something drives him to get angry, to lose smile on his lips, to be frozen to his own ideas and letting Satan to steal his happiness and joy in his heart. He always focuses on the issue of his problem to “what might happen”.
Life is full of many concerns. It never stops to have one. I told him that he doesn’t need to worry for GOD who created us is the one in control over “what might happen”. I let him know that He should let go his anxiety and let GOD do his plan for him. Putting our anxiety to HIM is a worry free situation. GOD will control the circumstances of our lives.
Even I as a mother I worry too especially when it concerned with my children. However, when I noticed that my joy and peace in my heart began to fade, I lean on to God’s word where Philippians 4:6-7 says do not worry about anything, but with prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make your request known to God and then the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I was commanded to pray about life’s worries, and then I do so. Instead of praying for my worries, I let my heart and soul to praise GOD and thank HIM for all the blessings HE continually gives in my family. For GOD knows and does what is best for us.
1 Peter 5:7 says cast your cares upon Jesus because He cares for you. The practice of believers is to take our worries to Jesus in prayer and leave them with Him. This emphasizes our reliance on, and faith in Jesus. Worries are waste of time about things which there is nothing to be done, but overcoming it and accepting it and let GOD grant us quietness and peacefulness with HIM makes us to be free from all of it. Instead worrying gets closer to GOD, allow HIM to embrace you in His wonderful arms and love. Do not look anything in our own eyes, but let us look in GOD’s eyes. LET GO AND LET GOD!
